OSI Systems Awarded $14.0 Million Phase 3 Contract from Edo CorporationOSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries announced today that its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division has received a phase 3 order for approximately $14.0 million from EDO Corporation. The contract follows the previously received phase 1 & 2 contracts from EDO for $5 million and $22.1 million respectively.
Under the terms of the contract OSI's Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division will deliver electronic sub-assemblies to be used by EDO in its CREW 2.1 vehicle-mounted electronic jammer systems currently under contract for ultimate delivery to the U.S. Department of Defense.
