Osteometer MediTech, Inc. Announces FDA Approval of Its New DexaCare G4 Bone Densitometer
Osteometer MediTech, Inc. today announced that its new DexaCare G4 Bone Densitometer has received 510(k) Approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) effective July 1, 2002.
Osteometer MediTech is a leading manufacturer of office-based bone densitometers for the diagnosis of osteoporosis, and markets its products worldwide. The DexaCare G4 is a "turn-key" table-top bone densitometer targeted at offices and private practices. The new system allows the health care professional to analyze the bone mineral density of the patient in their own setting without having to refer to a larger clinic or hospital.
