(NASDAQ:OSIS), a vertically integrated provider of specialized electronics products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, announced today that its Healthcare division, Spacelabs Healthcare, has launched the elance, a breakthrough design in ultra-lightweight, versatile patient monitors.
The elance patient monitor is designed specifically for applications requiring a compact, ultra-lightweight high-performance monitor in a streamlined form. The elance fits easily into a crowded care environment and is designed to facilitate caregiver access through a user-friendly interface. The slim widescreen display and intuitive touchscreen menu enhance visibility, ease of operation and informed decision-making, while the long battery life permits extended mobile operation. The elance family of patient monitors includes 11 models, including the elance central monitoring station that can connect up to 32 patient-side monitors.
