OSI Systems Appoints Independent Accountant
OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), today announced that its Audit Committee had appointed Moss Adams LLP to be the companys independent registered public accountants, effective April 20, 2006.
OSIs Chairman and CEO, Mr. Deepak Chopra, stated, We would like to welcome Moss Adams as our independent accountants. The appointment of Moss Adams was decided upon after our Audit Committee carefully evaluated all submitted proposals, including that of a big four firm. Moss Adams fills our need for a quality audit firm with a track record of exemplary service on reasonable terms. The Committee also considered the fact that Moss Adams is headquartered on the West Coast, making them a perfect geographic fit, while still being able to provide the service we require worldwide through their strong international relationships.
