OSI Systems Announces that Spacelabs Healthcare Has Been Honored as Leading Monitoring Service Provider in North America
OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries announces today that its Healthcare Division, Spacelabs Healthcare, has been recognized as the North American patient monitoring industry leader for overall service satisfaction based upon two separate surveys conducted by independent groups.
The 2007 ServiceTrak Patient Monitoring Systems survey by market research firm IMV Ltd., found that Spacelabs Healthcare received the highest rating from customers in more service areas than any other patient monitoring company in North America. In total Spacelabs was ranked number one in 21 of 36 service categories and above the industry average in 31 of 36 service categories.
The 2007 Service Quality Benchmark Survey conducted by market intelligence company, Medical Strategic Planning, (MSP) concluded that Spacelabs Healthcare received the best overall scores for service quality in 2007. MSP surveyed more than 900 U.S. hospitals asking hospitals to rate their suppliers of patient monitoring systems in a variety of areas. Results showed that Spacelabs led all other companies in reaching the highest median scores of any of its competitors.
