OSI Systems Receives Follow on Contract for Approximately $10 Million for Electronic Sub-Assemblies

HAWTHORNE, Calif., Aug 13, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, announced today that its Optoelectronics and Manufacturing division received an approximate $10 million follow-on order from ITT Corporation for electronic sub-assemblies.

The electronic sub-assemblies are to be used by the U.S. Department of Defense in their Mine Resistant Ambush Protected ("MRAP") armored vehicle program. Contract awards to date for this program total approximately $65 million.
