OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of
specialized electronics and services, today announced that its Security
division, Rapiscan Systems, received an order from the Transportation
Security Administration (TSA) totaling approximately $12 million for the
upgrade of Rapiscan's carry-on baggage X-ray inspection systems. The
upgrades will increase the threat detection capabilities of currently
deployed Rapiscan 620DV Advanced Technology X-ray systems.
