OSI Systems Receives $5 Million Order for Cargo and Vehicle Inspection Systems

HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronics and services, today announced that its Security division, Rapiscan Systems, was awarded an order for approximately $5 million from an Eastern European customer to provide multiple units of its Rapiscan Eagle® M-60, mobile cargo inspection system.

OSI Systems CEO, Deepak Chopra, commented, "We are excited about this award from a key customer and look forward to providing the Eagle M-60, one of the most powerful X-ray inspection systems available in a mobile configuration. Our Eagle cargo inspection product line is available in multiple configurations on fixed and mobile platforms allowing us to customize our offering to best suit the customer's requirements."
