OSI Systems Introduces Blease900 Series Ventilator

HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- OSI Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: OSIS), a vertically-integrated provider of specialized electronic products for critical applications in the Security and Healthcare industries, today announced that its Healthcare division, Spacelabs Healthcare, received clearance under Section 510(k) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market the Blease900 Ventilator Series.

The Blease900 is integrated in the BleaseFocus Anesthesia System. With this clearance, Spacelabs Healthcare is expected to begin selling the new BleaseFocus Anesthesia System into the United States. This system provides an ideal solution for day surgery and small hospital markets which need high performance solutions that meet their requirement for compact size and value pricing.
