OSI Systems Receives Highest Level European Approval for Large Tunnel RTT™ Ultra-High Speed Checked Baggage Inspection System
- Achieves ECAC Standard 3 with revolutionary CT technology based inspection system, RTT 110, accommodating efficient processing of large baggage
- Adds to suite of next generation hold baggage screening solutions that include RTT 80
The newly approved RTT 110 and earlier approved RTT 80 can screen bags at up to 1,800 bags per hour, significantly faster than the CT based HBS systems currently installed at airports. The RTT's unique design allows the processing speed of baggage screening to be at the same rate of speed as airport baggage handling systems, simplifying new installations or replacement of existing baggage inspection equipment. With its larger tunnel size, the RTT 110 is designed to fit the needs of airports that are looking for a hold baggage scanner that can accommodate larger items and easily integrate with their existing baggage handling infrastructure.
